I have had many peanut butters throughout my life- creamy, salted, unsalted, flavored, organic, etc. However, despite my many experiences with peanut butter, I have to admit, Smucker's Natural Creamy Peanut Butter has got to be one of the best I have ever had. Why? I don't know how exactly- I mean the ingredients are just "peanuts, salt". I don't understand how this peanut butter can be so excellent! First off, it does have the oil separation at the top that requires stirring. And yes, I'll admit, it does take a little bit of work to stir. But after stirring and letting it sit in the fridge for a day or so- it's phenomenal! A perfectly creamy peanut butter- thick and fresh, not pasty or dry at all. It is smooth, but also has texture- little tiny, tiny pieces of peanuts to add just the slightest crunch. And to compliment the perfect texture, just the right amount of salt. Not too salty, but just enough to really bring out the beautiful peanut flavor. I think it's just excellent for sandwiches, for dipping apple slices in, or even enjoying by the spoonful. This is my go-to choice for just natural, great tasting peanut butter.
