I am not much of a meat eater, and much less of a cook, so when the box from Rocky Mountain Grass Fed ORGANIC Beef was waiting for me when I got home from work at 9PM (yes it IS Manhattan), the very last thing I felt like doing was cooking dinner. But it was there and fresh and I had some organic frozen asparagus from Cascadian Farm waiting for me. So I bit the bullet and fired up the skillet. "Eat it Bear Naked" Rod Morrison CEO of RM Meats told me. But being the suspicious NY'er, I had my all natural Prickly Pear Grilling sauce AND Balsamic Glaze from Mardona (two favorites) close at hand. The thing I first noticed about the meat, was it was a lot redder than the anemic looking steak I pick up at Gristedes, and juicier too. I know you wait with baited breath for the verdict: after one bite, I was hooked...bear naked. And Bella (my daughter) was too. Back for seconds and thirds. Bella's comments echoed my own, "this stuff is addicting." Literally. P.S. and ORGANIC means no chems, no preserves, no nothin' but pure, unadulterated beef.
