I'm a fan of yogurt, and I'm a fan of honey. But am I a fan of Voskos Greek Yogurt in Greek Honey flavor? Well, yes, and well, no. I am a fan of the texture. It was creamy, and had a good amount of thickness to it which I certainly enjoyed. I also am a fan of the fact that this yogurt is only 130 calories, 13 grams of filling protein, and has 0 grams of fat per 5.3 ounce cup.
However, I wasn't a TRUE fan of the overall taste. I was expecting sweet- I usually find honey to be quite sweet. I will eat it on a whole wheat english muffin, I use it in recipes, and I even drizzle on top of things to add a little something extra. Voskos Greek Yogurt in Greek Honey flavor wasn't really as sweet as I had wanted and expected it to be, and it was actually was a bit tart. I think perhaps the tartness of the greek yogurt had overpowered the mild honey flavor, and made it an overall tangy yogurt.
I'm not saying I didn't enjoy this yogurt, because I did like it. It was quite good, and I might eat it again. However, I would probably mix it with some cereal or fruit rather than eat it as is.
