The creamy, nutty taste is classic. Some complained about it being too sour, but that's tahini for you. Tahini is yogurt based and tends to be a little sour. The sourness does not overwhelm the hummus but compliments it nicely. When I eat a falafel sandwich, the hummus and the tahini are often added separately. The hummus is smeared on the pita and the tahini is added at the end, making the sandwich a little drippy and the pita a little soggy. This combo however is conveniently a 2-in-1. You get the delectable flavors of hummus and tahini without the drippiness. I give two thumbs-up for this bright idea.
