Nutridel cookies also come in Pecan and Almond. A Nutridel cookie is, according to the website, an “artisan, gourmet cookie, made by hand in small batches with all-natural, earth-loving high quality ingredients”. Each of the cookies are cholesterol free, no dairy, egg, trans fats, refined sugar or preservatives. They also all contain antioxidants, omega 3’s and fiber. Now these are my kind of cookies!
Each pack contains two 1 oz cookies that are 3.5 inches in diameter. Thats about the size of a CD, so it’s pretty big length wise. However, it’s a flat cookie, so it doesn’t provide much depth. It resembles a crunchy “latke” in my opinion.
And, sorry, chewy-cookie lovers, these cookies are CRISPY and CRUNCHY! They are very good when you need a sweet cookie with some crunchin’ power!
The oatmeal one has a very, well, “oaty” taste. You can definietely see all the oats and sunflower seeds in the cookie. There is a slight sweetness to it, not overpowering at all. I think they should add a wee bit of cinnamon to the cookie for some extra flavor. I had both of mine with some greek yogurt- delicious combination!
