Muir Glen Chicken and Wild Rice

I bought this because my 16 year old daughter is always bugging me for those awful Nissan Noodles-- filled with sodium and preservatives. So, wanting to try something else, I grabbed this off the shelf hoping that it would appease her appetite for chicken and noodles (ok, it was rice). But, the minute it poured into the pan, I tasted it and was disappointed with the bland flavors and the miniscule pieces of chicken and nearly invisible veggies. It wasn't awful, just not nearly what the beautiful picture on the label portrayed. However, all was not lost. I added a bit of chicken, carrots and brocoli, and voila, a nice rich broth. Adding some garlic powder spiced it up a bit. Not horrible for an appetizer, but not really a robust meal without the additions.
