I like to consider myself a peanut butter princess- as in, I've tried so many types and flavors of peanut butters, I now know which ones I'll buy again and again, and which ones I'll leave on the shelf. Brad's Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter was one of the "peanuttiest" peanut butters I have ever tried. The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar, was that it was very easy to stir. Normally when I get the natural type peanut butters, there is a thick layer of oil on top and it takes me a while to stir it. Not the case here- I stirred it all up in a minute or so, but did notice the rather runny consistency. I decided to let it sit in the fridge to thicken up for a day or so, and it did! Quite nicely, too. The flavor is really a very rich peanut taste- really stuck to the roof of my mouth! I kind of wish it had just a bit more salty flavor, as I felt something was missing. Also- this was a crunchy type peanut butter, but I really did not see as many peanut pieces as I would have liked. Overall, it was pretty good for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but I probably wouldn't be taking scoops from the jar with a spoon.
