The ideal way to eat Amy’s Refried Black Beans is to add your own twist. It would taste delicious as a dip for tortilla chips or in a burrito. All I had in my kitchen was rice, so I added it to some steamed rice and it was perfect. It’s already a bit salty, so you don’t have to add any extra seasoning, but if you’d like to sweeten it up or add a kick, I suggest adding some brown sugar and/or paprika to the beans. I also added some shredded cheese and viola: a healthy quick dish to eat any time of the day. The portion was just enough for me and a friend, and it was fast and easy enough for a college student like me. It is an ideal addition when cooking with minimal ingredients, or you can go all out and add some vegetables, like onions and bell peppers, to pump up the flavor. Amy’s Refried beans will really taste good with anything.
