Want something light yet delicious tasting? This is the meal for you. The tamale, which had a super soft and more mushier exterior unlike a firm tortilla or wrap, was topped with a sweet yet slightly spicy verde sauce. On the inside was a good amount of very tender beans and vegetables, all with a bit of flavor on their own. On the side, is some rice that has just a very mild spice to it. The rice tastes best when eaten with the tamale rather than eaten alone, as it adds more flavor. It was kind of on the light side, and lacks protein that I would like to see for a meal, but it was a good dish when you aren't that hungry but in the mood for something savory!
