Yesterday was cold and rainy, in a sorta beautiful kinda way…
I woke up with no appetite whatsoever. I blame the bag of kettle corn I ate before bed and the fact that I don’t think I’ve gone numero dos since Sunday. Oh yeah, I went there.
Moving on…
I decided to get my blood going with this power flow in hopes that it would get my belly grumbling. Success.
I opted for something chocolately and covered with nut butter. Typical.
I used the recipe for April’s protein brownies, except I omitted the protein powder from the recipe and just spread it on top with some naturally more and sprinkles (which served no purpose other than looking pretty and making me smile).
afterthought…
While breakfast was satisfying, somehow I was still managed to crave chocolate when snacktime rolled around. I’m such a girl.
I have had these chocolate oikos that the lovely Kristina over at Stonyfield sent me lounging in my fridge for awhile now. Why I haven’t eaten them? Hell if I know.
I topped with some banana, coconut, and more sprinkles for aesthetic appeal. Oh? and that melty chocolate goodness? Justin’s chocolate hazelnut butter, which might as well be called god’s gift to the world, ’cause it kind of of is.
Ooph, I sorta wish I just ate this for breakfast…and lunch…and dinner. Actually, I sorta wish I was eating this right now… **runs off to kitchen**
Are you a chocolate lover? What’s your go-to chocolate source of choice? I have been known to polish off an entire sleeve of thin mints in my prime. J’adore.
