The Only Natural Food Diet, Day 5: Oh well, it's Friday

I started off doing really well. REALLY well. Motivated by the fact that I stepped on the scale and was down two pounds. Or at least a pound and a half. The usual breakfast and then, with lunch, my brand new salad bar (featured yesterday) that had this sign
and made me feel REAL proud that I was staying natural. I just want to show you how delicious this place is.
And I avoid those cupcakes again. Whew. Work was OK, kinda and then I had my usual 200 calories of snacks--ONLY NATURAL! i.e no preservatives or anything icky. (Except for the sugar). But then. I worked 'til 8 and I was tired. And I met my girlfriend and we went to Prime Steak house where I had my much needed glass of vino. (But dinner was OK--chicken and veggies, except maybe for that awesome roll--more like a bagel with butter) and then the guy next to us who was alone (but not single--and he was a dentist too!) had THESE fries:
Yes, that IS cheese on them. And well, after the second glass of wine, it was too much to bear. I had one, then another, then another and oh, well I LOST count! GRRR. So, I estimated the amount of calories I ingested from those gosh forsaken fries and here it is: A whopping 400 calories over my 1400 goal. I dare not step on a scale for 3 more days. Signing off. (Do you BLAME ME?)
