Toaster Pastries are always a treat for me. A soft crust usually coated with a sweet icing, and either a fruit or sweet filling on the inside. To add to my list of favorites when it comes to toaster pastries is Nature's Path's Cherry Chocolate Stripes Toaster Pastries. These combine the delicious flavor of not too tart cherries and a rich chocolate, all in one.
The pastry part is actually brown in color, has a chocolate-y taste, and is a tad bit dry. The filling, however, is amazing. The cherry part is lightly sweet, not sour, and the chocolate filling tasted more like dark chocolate than milk chocolate. I do wish there was more of a generous coating of icing, but it was still delicious, and quite sweet.
I enjoyed this one as is, but toasted lightly is also a great option!
