Well, I was just too tired to go out and eat, and it’s starting to run up the bills—to say nothing of the scale, so I peeked into my freezer and found Amy’s Asian Noodle Stir fry. Now I’m always suspicious of Asian frozen foods—with tons of preservatives and sodium, so I was very happy to see that indeed, this one is not only all natural, but had organic noodles as well. Sodium at 630 milligrams is on the high side for me—(i.e. read WATER RETENTION DARLING) and I’ve just read that adults should eat less than 2400 milligrams a day. (575 in a quarter teaspoon so you do the math—yep, less than a teaspoon a day). I ramble. Asian noodles dish: Pretty tasty on the flavor, I didn’t mind the rice noodles, however, sorry folks but the tofu was miniscule—(as in could I see it?) Veggie portions, not bad, so at $4 -$6 (depending where you live) it’s.. well, it worked for me for lunch. But definitely not if you’re very hungry unless you are having a side salad and add to the veggies. Calorie count wasn’t bad either—290, and 6 points if you are on Weight Watchers ® Kind of high because of all the fat, but works with the Spark People plan.
