As you all know, I’ve been home for the summer for about a week now. Unfortunately, thanks to technology, being home doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m done with school. Over the past week i’ve had a ton of papers and projects to complete and by the time Thursday rolled around I was really feeling the stress. As you can imagine, I was elated when my Pysch prof said that she would extend the deadline for our online final exam until May 8th at midnight.
Proof

Perhaps I shouldn’t have taken full advantage of the extension, but I couldn’t resist. Now I wish I had. I signed on yesterday morning to complete the exam and found this:
*insert panic here*
Correct me if I’m wrong, but my teacher did say May 8th at midnight, right?
and yesterday was, in fact, May 8th?
Just clarifying.
I emailed my professor about 5 times throughout the day with no response. In her defense, I’m sure she was celebrating her motherhood but still! Fortunately, there are about 7 other people in the class in the same boat, so I’m not as worried as I would be if it was just me. Misery loves company, huh?
I’m not sure what the dealio will be but I’m trying not to stress out about it too much right now. I actually have to drive up to campus to take another final and present a project today so Pysch will have to wait.
Have you ever taken an online class before? Yay or nay? I’ve taken a few and never had an issue with them. This particular class though was just painful. The professor was so unclear and inconsistent in her directions and absolutely awful in responding to emails.
What’s the most stressful academic situation you can recall?

Have a good one, all! Oh, and would you mind doing me a favor? Pray for me (and my GPA). Thanks!
