Despite popular belief, a dollar can buy a lot of things:
Let’s see..
- a banana
- a double cheeseburger from McDonald’s
- a bottled water (well, depending on where you live. In the city its about $5)
- a Dannon light and fit yogurt (though I recommend you don’t buy them. The greek stuff is so much better )
- a pack of gum
and…
all this swag!
lovely plastic dishes (3 pack!)
silicone baking dish
aluminum muffin tins (3 pack!)
aluminum mini loaf pans (5 pack!)
dessert cup
Final cost: $5.00 (+ tax)
I am an avid dollar store shopper. It’s such a great resource for everything you need (and everything you don’t, but buy anyway). I suppose I didn’t need any more bakeware, but at a dollar a pop I just couldn’t resist.

I served up this mornings breakfast on my new mini plate:
Berries, pretzels, almond butter
Gabriela’s pumpkin protein pudding with raw oats and wheat germ
After fueling, I threw on some gym gear…
le tigre (a knock off of lacoste) track jacket, black spandex, sneaks
…and hit the gym for a new workout. I’m trying out this 2 day push/pull split (which means 4 days of strength training per week) to pump up my bod and decrease my cardio a bit. I really liked the diversity of the workout. Tricep dips are my favs

Before I forget, some iphone pictures from my brother’s show this weekend!
I’m so proud of him
