I started drinking coffee when I was 16 years old.
Although I didn’t really have much of a taste for it then, I looked so much cooler in high school carrying around my starbucks travel mug during 1st and 2nd period.
At least that’s what I thought.
Over time, my palate has matured a bit and I’ve grown to adore a good cup of coffee. I’ve dabbled in many different brands, flavors, grinding methods, but have never been as enamored with a cup as I was yesterday.
Friends, meet the perfect cup of coffee.
I was fortunate enough to win Janetha’s XPress lids giveaway, though I almost wish I hadn’t. Why? Because now I only have 11 more perfect cups before I’m forced to resort back to sub-par brewing.
Ah well, as they say..’tis better to have loved and lost then never loved at all.
At least I can have oats every day for the rest of my life if I so choose. I love reliability, especially when it’s mixed with banana and topped with almond butter.
Somehow Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas definitely manifested himself in to my coffee.
Creepy.
Although I’m tempted to break in to the rest of my XPress Lids stash and brew up another cup, I’m going to try to salvage the rest of them until I head back to school for the semester. These are SO perfect for on the go java-ing.
Java-ing. Synonymous with Starbucksing.
What’s your favorite brand of coffee? Though I love the ambiance at Starbucks, I definitely prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee. I’m also a huge fan of Green Mountain flavored. They have an Island Coconut variety and it is literally worth losing sleep over. I speak from experience, as I used to have a bad habit of drinking it with dessert.

It snowed like CRAZY last night so it looks like I’m stuck at home all day. I think I’ll wander outside and see what kind of beauty miss Rebella can capture.
Happy Saturday to you guys!
