I shouldn’t be surprised that yesterday’s post received one of the lowest click rates in all of PB&J history. Dedicating an entire post to beef in a predominately vegetarian environment is similar to someone wearing a Yankee hat in Boston.
It just doesn’t work.
So, from here on out – I WILL be posting meat options if I’m eating them, I just promise not to go in to elaborate detail boasting their health benefits and posting super close up and poorly lit pictures of them. Deal?
So let’s talk peanut butter and jelly. It is the great unifier, after all…
Peanut Butter and Jelly sauce
- 1/4 cup peanut flour
- 1-2 tbsp jam of choice (I used strawberry. That’s the only kind I like!)
- 1/4-1/2 cup milk (I just used plain old moo juice. Vary measurements to accomodate the amount of jam you add)
Mix until it reaches a beautiful pink color!
Spread on pancakes, ice cream, oatmeal, a spoon.
I couldn’t believe how similar this tasted to a PB&J sandwich. Boo-yah.
I’ve also done the same with banana to replace the jelly and used coconut milk…
Question: how did blog world function before peanut flour?
