Apparently my scalp isn’t the only thing that’s dry.
My hands – dry
Bleeding cracked skin. Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m turning in to a black swan.
My breakfast – dry
I attempted to make Katie’s breakfast pizzert with a few substitutions that just did not work out. I’m not going to even bother posting my sub-par
recipe and just direct you towards hers instead
I can recommend that you tops yours with almond butter, chocolate raspberry sauce, and plate it alongside bananas, raspberries, yogurt, and granola.
My eyes – dry after spending the morning sobbing over Gingie’s departure back to Uconn.
Okay, I’m a little dramatic.
Fortunately, a good photography session around the house took my mind off of things.
This picture was my favorite of the day. It was so fun to play around with! Which do you like best?
I love the way photography forces you to see the world in a completely different light. You suddenly become so much more aware of the small, seemingly insignificant things, and how beautiful they really are! These faux flowers and mirror have been set up this way in my room for years but there was something about the way the light was hitting them today that completely inspired me to snap some photos.
What’s the most beautiful thing YOU’VE seen today. Besides yourselves

Off to do some serious packing. Back to the apartment tomorrow!
