Lisa, the Health Nut

I'm lisa and I loooove healthy food!  The lifestyle I chose to live is eating only natural or organic food products, minimally processed whenever possible.  What I can't stand is that people may  automatically assume all "health food" that I eat isn't flavorful or tasty.  THIS IS NOT TRUE!  Why would I eat stuff that doesn't taste good?  So my mission is to spread the word that "healthy" does not mean "tasteless".  Healthy food can be just as yummy as the not-so healthy types!   I'll let you know what foods are good, and which ones aren't so good. :)

Yoplait Strawberry Greek Yogurt

I got some coupons to try Yoplait Greek Yogurt for free, and of the ones I chose, Strawberry and the already reviewed Honey Vanilla were two of them. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Honey Vanilla, but I had hopes for Strawberry to be tasty.

At first, it started off good. It looks really good straight from the container!

Mmm. looks delish!

The yogurt part itself was very thick, kind of tangy, and almost has a cream cheese flavor. The fruit on the bottom was a bit of a let down, it had a super tangy strawberry flavor, and really was  not sweet at all. There was also some kind of  lemony flavor in this yogurt, and also some type of awkward flavor going on. I can’t say I’m a big fan =(

Overall, 2 stars. I really loved how thick it was, but I really did not like the taste.

1 container is 160 calories, 0 grams of fat, 25 grams of carbohydrates, 20 grams of sugar and 14 grams of protein.
