taming the beast

Confession: I’ve been avoiding diving in to my large and in charge jar of Maranatha almond butter for weeks now because I didn’t want to deal with oil separation.
This puppy is massive (26 oz) and I knew the grand nut butter stir (y’all know what I’m talking about) would be no easy feat.
5 minutes and 10lbs of muscle gain in my left forearm later, perfectly creamy AB bliss
I rewarded myself with a lovely breakfast.
pancakes topped with blueberry sauce (blueberries + 1 tsp maple syrup – microwaved for 45 seconds) and a side of the juiciest strawberries ever! ‘Tis the season.
So worth the early morning nut butter workout.
What’s the biggest culinary beast you’ve conquered as of late? Admittedly, I tend to avoid my kitchen fears at all costs…especially baking breads. Yeast gives me the heebie jeebies.
